Totally agreeI think Trump is unelectable. I like what he did for America. I like the bulk of his policies. He needs to move on now and let someone else build upon his successes and unf@#! this thing we have going on right now…

I think we are past the tipping point in the USA now. People that don't work or want free stuff now control the country. The Dems are doing everything they can to expand that too (open borders and increasing entitlements) Whomever promises the most free stuff now wins the elections. Trump would be the only person to try and stop it, but they will stop him by any means necessary before he became President because the Dems know this. I just try to hunt as much as possibly or do things I enjoy and try not to worry about it. Sorry state of affairs!

If iowa politics has shown us anything - republicans can Stand against the people and some of them are for sale. Sick. Both sides are plagued with sell outs & incompetence. We are living in a BROKEN SYSTEM. If we do NOT fix this current system of 2 party disaster & corruption- this nation will not survive IMO. I’m optimistic but this system is broken & must be overhauled."

The only reason Trump will have a hard time getting elected is the corruption is soooooo bad in this country they will do anything to stop him. Trump is a nationalist and a huge threat to the globalist and without a doubt the only one that has a prayer to stop the big dream of one world order.

I don’t think that is the only reason. This country is due for a moderate candidate. We all knew Uncle Joey was not that. Neither is Trump though, and I think he is still too focused on 2020. And again, I am a big fan of what he accomplished! But he is toxic to a huge swath of voters.

I agree with deerdown. Trump had a republican congress for the first 2 years and they still couldn't get any major laws passed. The 2 party system is rigged. Both sides are bought and paid for by the same people. The two party system is designed to keep the masses pitted against each other and give the illusion that you have a choice.
I like trump's policies. I just wish he could have stayed off Twitter. I don't think he's capable of winning the election over the democratic candidate. I know a lot of people that voted biden because they didn't like trump and I've even heard the reason from someone that they don't like his mean treats. He couldn't beat biden and that was before the Jan 6th debacle and being indicted. I'm not pinning those on trump, but I bet a lot of other people are.

Votes matter in an election and the dems have that figured out. The vast majority of people do not vote based on an educated decision and honestly who can blame them because there is no REAL NEWS outlet and no unbiased reporting. EVERY daily news report from a baseball game to beer advertising to Adidas apparel reveals have an undermining agenda. I support most of what Trump did but I don’t think he can muster up enough votes to get elected because of the baggage that follows him whether true or manipulated and we need someone conservative and fiscally responsible that can get elected this round because another four years of this will further break this country!! Inflation will run rampant even more if we have another four years of blank checks going out to everyone wanting a handout!!

Fiscal Conservatism has been gone for a long time. Both sides try to spend their way through problems they just do it in a different way.
The only way to really save this country is to get someone who can curb the spending and keep our Country at the forefront of everything. I do think Desantis can do this personally from the way he has handled FL and I do believe he has the balls to fight the establishment also. He is likeable for independents and the majority of the republicans so I believe he should be the ticket.

My thoughts:
Trump: I want age limits in place. Needs to provide and answer, not an excuse on why wall didn't get completed (we know why, but articulate instead of insult). Will he spend 4 years in vindication mode? Would his 4 years be like his final year in the last term where nothing got done? Will he be able to fill key positions (many in politics are saying this could be career suicide)? 30-65 year old men, Trump gets 85% of their votes. But, older than that, they still watch and believe MSM. Female voters? Who knows...I think they are still holding on to things he said.
Desantis: Get a new marketing team...Yours is awful. Learn to tell stories and connect with people. Utilize your wife...she is a great asset. Solidify a foreign policy and articulate this. We are on the verge of WW3 which will be nuclear. What are you going to do to stop this?
Either way...Kamala cannot get the keys to the kingdom and have the power of the red button to send us into a nuclear holocaust.

This is exactly what everyone waited for while he was president. He continually made claims of "draining the swamp" and the corruption of the deep state. He was going to bring everything to light......yet we learned nothing. Everyone that was serving in office that he claimed was corrupt is still there today(unless they left by themselves). He made the same claims about a "Stolen Election"...."I have proof"! Yet nothing materialized!
The man had some damn good policies while in office, no doubt. His foreign policies were probably the best we have ever seen, BUT he is far too much of a liability. Hell look at him now, attacking DeSantis from the Left? I thought this guy was supposed to be our republican savior yet he is taking a left approach....he is confusing to say the least.

Look I agree there is most likely piles upon piles of corruption in our government system. Probably worse than any of us could even imagine. I also agree that the MSM and Left will do nearly anything to stop Trump from being elected but they are not what didn't get Trump elected in 2020.
He has a rude attitude, he is a horrible speaker, he cannot debate AT ALL, his arrogance, his demeanor....these are some of the things that didnt get him elected....
Its time for the Republican Party to move on from him....

2) we heard same thing almost exactly about Trump in 2015-2016. Same in 2020 when he did get 75m votes (vs obama getting 68m). Biden “somehow” got 81m votes. “Trump can’t win” has been said forever but despite everything they through at him & continue to do- he’s exceeded expectations every time.
3) my main point…. Don’t u think this has been the left & medias goal this whole time? To paint him as an unelectable lunatic. Grind him down for 6+ years often with no facts or basis for their attacks. Or when 90% of what they cover of Trump is the 10% of dumb stuff he says. IMO - 90% of what he says is spot on. On REVERSE…. Biden doesn’t even say 10% coherent stuff but he gets 90% positive coverage. The guy is a vegetable & the media, establishment, big Tech, etc shield him. I don’t see how it isn’t a win for the media + democrats + establishment to get folks to turn on trump. Cause the vast majority of what trump stands for is what I think most here believe in. It’s just a matter of “do u cave to the pressure” IMO. Thoughts?

I think you are right … but also wrong . I think Trump won by millions of votes last election. The late night ballot dumps in the swing states showed enormous fraud. You may think conspiracy theorist !! Fine, but I’d bet there’s not anywhere close to 81 million Biden voters. Biden approval is the worst in history, because he is by far the worst President in US history … Jimmy Carter is no longer the bottom !
Note… Republicans counties/Red states should not report any results until the Democrats have reported their results.
So they can’t “find” the late night votes, and then add in a week long of nothing but Biden votes to catch up !! Like in 2020.
