I'm not sure, it was an expression used by a co-worker that goes to all these things. Based on her description, it involves nudity (good and bad) Alcohol, and the freak chance you can see ugly people in a frolick. I always offer to loan her a digital camera but she declines....

i have heard of similar stories from hawgstock, just outside of winterset. i may just have to go to that one next year.

i know there are other "mini-sturgis" type rallies around the state. conesville, humbolt, i think annamosa might have one
