Wicked Tough Saw review

Great saw Todd I cleared the 20 plus stands I have hung on my Houston county farm with it on Sunday and it is the sharpest saw of its kind.I also slipped on the last set I was clearing and ran it across my left thumb and ended up with 6 stitches at the Lacrosse emergency room Sunday afternoon. So it not only cuts trees well but flesh also!!

Told you it cuts flesh!

Just got mine in the mail yesterday and took it out and beat it up some yesterday... these things are as advertised and worth every penny IMO. You gotta get on a pole saw design, Todd.... I'll be first in line!

Real nice saw

Man that is gross! Hope it heals alright!

Nice saw just tried mine out today!:way:

Well, congratulations Bluff, you are officially the first near-amputee! Man, that's the only bad thing about "wicked sharp" saws. It only takes one second of "whoopsie" to cause some very severe damage. I nearly cut my leg off the other day, but thankfully was wearing my double-knee'd dickies and they resisted the impact to a bruise.

Thanks for the reports guys - keep them coming, and please be careful!

A good friend of mine works in the ER at Gunderson in LaX. Was he working the day you went in? Short guy with short red hair. That looks like it hurt like heck...

And thanks Todd the saw is great...

Thumb is healing well. The only reason I took a picture is my wife thought i was full of bs when I text her I was at the emergency room so I sent her a picture so I had to post it when JakeWym asked!!

Dumb question here. how do I order one? does Todd have a website?

Ive also fallen victim to cutting flesh with a trimming saw before. right across my bicep, left one hell of a scar.

I just had to bring this back up after what happened today. I've liked this saw from the beginning but I always doubted that the blade was as strong as Todd made it look on his site. Plus, he's not that big of a guy and I didn't think he could bend it as far as I could. Sorry Todd. I've been using my saw a LOT trimming in my tree plantings. Today I was cutting a box elder sapling at ground level on a steep sidehill. I had both hands on the saw and just as I was starting a forward stroke, I slipped in the mud and put all my weight on the saw, bending that blade WAY around. I figured it would at least have kink in it, but it sprung right back and is just like the day I got it. That saw is amazing.

I have been wanting one of these saws since this thread was started but I still had a cheap saw that had not broke yet. My wife wanted some evergreen trees and bushes removed so that took care of the cheap saw pretty quick. We had to go to Iowa City today so I picked up a Wicked saw at Scheels. I put it to use when I got back home and it is the best saw I have ever used. I sure hope they come out with a pole saw before we have to trim shooting lanes this year.
