I was pretty suprised this year to see he made such a jump at 5 1/2.. Watching him since 2010 when he was barley a 100 inch 8 at 3 1/2 I though he was like alot of other Poor genetic 8s that are around our area. Even in 2011 at 4.5 he was only about 120. This year we had a couple other better scoring bucks around but after getting some summer pictures of him , i kinda had my eye on Him.. With 3 years of history and a shed, theres nothing better than chasing a buck you watched over the years!
wish i could have got him on a scale, but it was just to warm out and we had to get him butched! Ive shot 2 in the past that were 230lbs dressed and im pretty sure he would have been the same or a bit better.. just sucks not to know!..
