I assume he has been that way for awhile which is the reason for the small left side?

Oh my!!! Bad time to get a wound- heat (bacterial infection).
Agree on above- wound kinda goes with rack a bit. So far he does look healthy though & they r tough so cross fingers.

I have photos of him every month since may and this wound just showed up on the last card pull. I thought the same thing originally but after looking back, it’s definitely a new wound
