A friend of mine emailed me this. It was shot near Friendsville PA. A PA game commission officer confirmed it was a female coyote wieghing 115 lbs.I dont know where he got this picture or info. Has anyone else seen this pic?
I think it's a BS picture. Some of you MAC daddy's look at this and see what you think. That doggie has a pretty heavy shadow around it and I don't see any grass sticking up around it's face or legs where there is on the deer.
Maybe I'm a skeptic but one time Headgear gave me BIG muscles and took away my love handles in what is now my favorite photo of me, so I don't believe much of what I see in a picture anymore.
i have seen this on a couple other forums i hang out in. the concensus there was that this was some kind of a mix. there were a couple other pics on there too
I've been in wieght contests all around western new york and have seen 80-90 pound coyotes dnr says it's there just a breed of red wolf moving down from ontario. and pa is not far away. the biggest my group of hunting partners have been 67, my biggest is 53. But a female coyote wieghing that much is alittle sketchy. might have some mix in it.
I'm no computer or photo wiz, but that picture looks totally doctored. Look at the thick black line just above it's back, how come it's not as dark as the one on the deer's back?????????????????
I personally don't think it was doctord at all the dark is is the end of it's hair look at the rest of the top of it's back the tips are black. I just think the wieght was a little fishy.
I'd have to see it in person to believe it's that damn heavy. And then I wouldn't be convinced it was all yodel dog. That is your typical PA trophy whitetail though.
why would you wait until snow is falling to take a picture like that? Green grass and all. In relationship to the buck....that Yote would be at least in the 140 pound range. I think this is another retouched photo doing exactly what is was created for.....Controversy.
If it's real, which I doubt it is, then the deer is not very big. I've never in my life seena 115 pound buck, unless he was wearing buttons. It's just too darn big to be real.
It looks like the picture was cut and pasted on to the deer pic. The back of the coyote is laying on the front legs of the deer. The coyot's fur doesn't fit how it should over the legs. I seems it was two different pics put together.
