You can build a smokeless 45 cal. Remington 700ml for about the same price and be much better off.

700 remington custom ML is the way to go. Slap a pacnor barrel on it with a boyds stock and your in business. I had 1 built last summer. Best gun purchase in my life. Its a ML that shoots like a rifle.

Too funny. In second thought, I guess I'm no longer looking to buy a Savage ML, but if I find a buyer for a $3,000 one, I will find one and sell it to the perspective buyer. I'm still smiling about the last post .

All joking aside, savage make a great gun! I can't say enough good things about it, but in the end it doesn't shoot any better then my Knight Long Range Hunter.
