WTB Springfield 1903/1903A1

Iowa Boy At Heart
I'm looking for a Springfield or Rock Island Arsenal manufactured Springfield 1903 (chambered in .30-06), manufactured between 1915-1920 if anyone has one in good condition (clean bore, good wood, fully functional) they are looking to unload. Prefer SN above 1,000,000.

Will consider a 1903A1 from Remington manufactured in early 1940s, with SN less than 3,300,000, but prefer an earlier model.

I'm hoping some of my connections up there can help me track one down or might even have one laying around that they're willing to part with. I know the request above is picky and narrow in scope, but I have very specific reasons for what I'm looking for.

Thanks!

. Don't know if this is close or not?

How about some Nockturnal lighted Nocks instead? ;)

I shoot manly, real arrows so those wont' work. :moon:

I don't think the pic worked, but its a 1903 in 30-40 kreg

Sorry, should have clarified, I want a 1903 in .30-06, which is all that they would have been chambered for in the year range I'm looking. The original 03s (03-06) were chambered in in Krag before the development of the .30-06. Thanks, though! :way:

There's one on a gun auction at Kramer Auction in Prairie du Chien March 30. Looks nice serial 1372552 You can do online bidding if you want. Check it out on their website. Lot 604 page 9

Thanks! I'll take a look at it from home. Its a 1929 manufacture, but I may go after it, anyway. Much appreciated!

Let's keep in touch on that, TR. If I don't find the specific year I'm looking for, I may take you up on some help (whatever that entails)! Thanks!
