Last night right before dark I shot a big old doe during the antler-less season, I hung her in my garage last night and this morning I skinned her and am hoping to butcher her as soon as possible because the temp is saposed to go up. But I have noticed all the fat on her is more of a yellow color than the plain white fat taht I have usually seen on most deer. Does anyone know why this is like this? It may be normal but I just don't ever remember seeing anything other than white fat on my deer in the past.
