Young bucks mounting older buck

I just got done with late season muzzle loading. I saw something I haven't before. A spike mounted a 165" buck. I thought wow that's wierd. I had a video camera but didn't get it out fast enough. I was filming a few minutes later and a 3 or 4 year old 10 pointer mounted the same big buck. The buck that got mounted appeared healthy but it's back end was hunched up a bit. Not sure what to make of it.

I guess you shot too many doe in your area. I did see a couple picks of antlered doe shot this year, but in other states.

I couldn't see but it was a decent buck. Big body. Not sure if it was getting ready to shed. Testosterone changing or something like that?

Strange, never heard of that kind of behavior before. If the big buck was hunched over, he might have been injured. Either he lost his "package" on a barbed wire fence or joined the LBGQ community?
