Found a dead deer last night that is 80 yards away from a few stands.
Deer JUST died yesterday. (wasn't stiff yet)
No bullet holes, or arrow holes. We figure he was hit by a car.
So here's the question, do you move the deer, or just leave it?
Will the smell possibly detour other deer in the area?

Predators will find it and it WILL effect deer movement in that are. Not sure on the laws but if at all possible I would drag it to a steep ditch further from your stand.

I was thinking the same thing, just didn't have the time to move it.
I should be able to get back out there tomorrow and move it.
thanks for the input :drink1:

Years ago I had a dead buck, unknown cause, close to one of my stands and as near as I could tell, the stink rerouted the deer traffic in that area. I would move it to be on the safe side.
