Ya. We were late on some bean planting this year and I tried some later maturing in a few areas I planted earlier. In any case- worked great & soybeans were for sure the ticket.

Great tactic! Those boys weren't done chowing yet. Congrats again.
So we weighed both, 282 & 285 lbs with guts. After guts… about low 250’s.
Both were so loaded with fat it’s neat to see. The more fat they have going into the rut- the better. The fact that these 2 horses will not be destroying other bucks this rut has to be a blessing for the younger studs. Check the layer of fat along back strap & hind quarters. Hard to see it but it was like 2-3” thick in a lot of spots.
