AR pistol season AKA late muzzy

The new orange army . 20 days of 350 legend AR pistols the snows deep and they are grouped up big time . Anyone got a group going ? I know a few locals who love it . Even the non res guys are doing it now . Coincidently lines up with coyote hound truck radio hunting season . How’s this keep...

    The "orange army"

Too many “the deer and land are all mine “ attitudes anymore . Access dwindles every year unless you own or you have family that owns land . Being part of the orange army was some of my best memories as a kid and still try to participate in it - but too many parcels are gone the way side and...

Now that necked cartridges are lawful (min .35 - max .5) what will everyone be hunting with this year?

Most around here converted to 350 legend less recoil out the truck window . And 20 round mags amuck https://ar15parts.com/magazines/350-legend-magazines-ar15/350-legend-20-round-magazine-cmmg/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Probably , but there were a few I remember arguing most cartridges were the same kinetic energy and trajectory with less recoil that would be good for noobs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Now that necked cartridges are lawful (min .35 - max .5) what will everyone be hunting with this year?

Wait wait wait , weren’t half the people on this thread the guys 2-3 years ago saying straight walls were great to get the kid introduced cause 12s and 20 gauges kicked too hard ? And we tried to tell them otherwise ? All the professional box blind hunters need their 8 year old to hold a 160 for...

    Smokless ml build? /suggestions.

Where in the regs does it say you cannot shoulder it ? Or are you talking ATF regulations ? For the record not hunting muzzleloader with it anyway - but I know a band of hunters that are . They all have them . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Saddle Hunting

I regularly see guys on here throughout the years that freeze there ass off come late november. I have the 1000 dollar Sitka gear and multiple layers - it doesnt matter , come when it dips in the 20s I still get chilly after a while and something bothers me , toes fingers or just cold in...

Necked cartidge bill returns HF 716

Youve never seen an AR pistol ? Tons of people are already using 450 Bushmaster AR "Pistols" for Late muzzeloader season because technically its a pistol. Nothing like hunting with an AR 15 in late muzzy. There isnt that much difference in velocity vs a 14 in barrel and 18 inch barrel...

    Trailer Recommendation

Dual axle with trailer breaks you might as well get a car trailer. Sounds like you need to decide if you want a car trailer or utility trailer. I bought a used one for 250 bucks and its gone 500 miles already down the road without a hitch .

    Iowa Crush Cam

I get it - some guys can contribute the habitat and manage your ground and herds and essentially "grow" big deer . Thats great too - not talking it down. I can see where obsessed is coming from in parts though - the guys from videos like the Hunting Public shooting a 150 on public are WAY...
