My understanding is they're looking for more early successional plants.
I don't know why they don't just nuke the $hit in strips and be done with it for a couple years then rotate to the other strips in future years....on wait....it''s the implementation of the goverment rules....

That's always been confounding to me.
Watching a particular hunting show/host stating this bow manufacturer has THE best bows on the market....then the next year the same hunting show/host saying a different manufacturer has THE best bows on the market.
Doesn't take long after buying that...
They're going to look like swamp white oaks, but some will have fall color, which swamp white (quercus bicolor) does not have any of other than dead brown.
