Crossbows and more outfitters are right there with more NR hunters in my opinion. We need to come into the capital with an army if these issues go to a vote next year.

Yes, the biggest loser in this bill is the state of Iowa (assuming I understand this bill correctly). Let's say a landowner is very picky and only has 1 or 2 bucks he is after. Now he can just buy the one cheap landowner tag and roll it all season. Lots of lost revenue will result from less...

As a landowner I don't like this change (age structure will be impacted some by this). Basically all it does for the state is take license revenue away, and I'm surprised they passed this. Next year they will be saying we need more revenue and that will put pressure on allowing more...

Those boys from the farm bureau got to the capital and saw Skip standing there. They said oh crap boys, we have a fight on our hands today...:p

I think they report it as unpaid, and it effects your credit.

I agree 100% on the neighbor comment..That makes or breaks a farm when you are trying to manage for age like we do.

We need to assemble an Army at the capital when the votes on crossbows, more NR hunters, more outfitters, etc take place. If we can know when these go to vote, and plan as far out as possible to assemble a big group it will help. Nice job Skip on representing everyone today.

I don't believe they are criminal tickets, just civil. So not paying would probably at least hurt your credit report. If someone was driving her car and not her, she can probably get out of it. It would be interesting to see what an Iowa attorney says about these tickets.

I bet this guy's phone is ringing off the hook after doing Winke's and Higgin's farms on social media.

They should be going after the real criminals and not after people going 10 mph over the speed limit.
