    question on Turkey broadheads

I use Magnus Bullheads for turkeys. I suggest buying the head and arrow combo pack. The guy on YouTube New Day Outdoors channel has a lot of good info on bullheads and setting them up.

    Millennium G100

So I love the comfort of my g100. Last year it started squeaking. I contacted Millennium and they told me to tighten some of the bolts. I did that and it helped for awhile. But now I got it out again and it squeaking more than before. I tightened everything as tight as I want to go without...

450 Bushmaster AR Pistol in Late Muzzleloader

You are right the ballistics and accuracy would probably suck. There are already 4” barrels out there. Haven’t seen any for the 450BM or 350 Legend yet.

450 Bushmaster AR Pistol in Late Muzzleloader

I am a hunter that respects this great resource. I have hunted every season but anterless. That is only because of availability. I agree that these are better guns than shotguns to take deer with. I took a doe with my 47/70 this year. I have a 450BM that I plan on using next year. You may...

450 Bushmaster AR Pistol in Late Muzzleloader

Chicago-St Louis..... so they make up the population densities. I’ve shot gun hunted twice in my life. I pheasant hunted with my old mans 1100 back in the 80s. I’ve never shot at any running deer. Sounds like you’re still wet behind the ears. They have better cover to food ratio than Iowa in the...

450 Bushmaster AR Pistol in Late Muzzleloader

So you’re saying that all the other states around us don’t have the same habitat as we do but have less quality deer just by luck? We got lucky when the farmers wanted dear season in December so they could get the crops out first. There are states that should have bigger and better deer than...

Once a firearm is shouldered it is no longer a pistol. It should be that simple.

    Needed to strut

Been having a heck of a time bringing the in. Problem was they were hanging up every time they would get to the crick. Noticed they were being pretty aggressive. The jake decoys weren’t enough to coax them in. So this morning I decided to throw the strutter out. Worked like money. They only way...

    One minute after sunrise

I use a game cart with one of those bungee nets to hold everything on. I just got a new one with pneumatic tires and all bolted together no clips to rattle. I set everything up where I’m gonna hunt that morning the night before. Definitely not a run and gun setup.

    One minute after sunrise

I was settled in the blind at 5:05AM. Pumped to hear the thunderous gobbles I heard Saturday when scouting. Only one bird gobbling in my area so I didn’t have high hopes that he would come in. Had both my jakes out and that will usually hang up a lone bird. To my surprise he flew down and came...
