Get a pair of the Icebreaker boot blankets, put them on once you are in the stand and your feet will never get cold again. They are one more thing to carry in, a little bulky but compress down enough I can get mine in my backpack,well worth it, you will be able to sit all day with warm feet.

I hear ya Buckhunter, I've been out every night of late muzzleloader and at least half the mornings, has been very slow, I'll wait till Thursday for a good one but the does better look out on Fiday!

Jason, usually the first few days of late muzzleloader are tough, the deer have been run hard in most places for several weeks. After about a week they will calm down and start being pretty visable again. Pray for cold weather, the colder the better. You still have plenty of time to locate...

I use 150 grains of pyrodex pellets and 250 grain barnes bullets, very good knockdown power. Still very accurate at 200 yards.
