    When to meet the neighbors?

Ive only been a part of two transactions. In my experience both times were stressful and felt like an any moment I could get a call saying it was off. There were hoops to drop through on both. Still gives me a little anxiety just thinking about it. I would not say word to anyone until the deal...

    Leaf blowing access trails

I second this. Ive done this to a few stands. Its great for walking in quietly, nearly no sound. Mine were off a field edge and were 20-40 yards into the timber. But, they quickly turned into the deers preferred path as well

    Acorns to Oaks!

How tall was that when planted? Was it a bareroot seedling? 3rd growing season, so planted spring 24?

    Oaks and tubes

Sidenote: i planted a bunch of bare root seedlings swap white oaks spring 25 on my old farm and was impressed how much growth they put in on just that spring/summer, all were tubed. Ive had a couple small seedling oaks in my back yard for I think year 3 right now, but they were not tubed, just a...

    3D shoot thread?

I really enjoy 3d shoots. I used to go to one what felt like every weekend several years ago for a number of years. For whatever reason they dont seem that popular anymore and unfortunately fadding away. Its a lot of fun, Im not sure why they are not actually getting more popular. -Im pretty...

    Otter problems?

My new farm has a 1/2 acre pond. I doubt there is fish in it, was a cattle pond, but its deep enough to hold fish. Was thinking of getting it stocked, but ive got trail cam pic of 3 otters and twice now I have seen an otter swimming in the pond. I better get them trapped or something before...

    New Clover Plot

How late in the spring is to late to try and plant some clover? I'd like to try and get a couple 1/4-1/2 acre clover plots established. Would a week to week & a half into June be to late? I know weather dependent etc with the heat and forecasted coming rain. I have some open areas I could spray...

    Am I to late?

Thanks everyone. What a relief. Most videos I have watched have everyone doing spraying etc early spring and planting it mid to late may.

    Am I to late?

I'd like to get some switchgrass screens established along the edge of some timber and the ag field. The length of where it would be getting planted was cattle pasture a year ago at this time. There is grass growing there. I dont really see hardly any broadleafs. Todays 5/12. I have done zero...
