SC iowa BUST! Theft, trespass & shed poaching…

Is there any way with the cell phone cameras that they can determine where the pictures are being sent from? Seems like that would be the first thing they would look into?

    Spring beaver trapping

Thats pretty cool! I'm glad to see guys still doing it. I remember seeing a 60lb beaver when I was a kid that a guy caught in a 30/30. I couldn't get over those big yellow nasty teeth lol

OFFENSE!! 2 Bills to support!! SF 293 & SF 247 EMAIL IN!!! What a great change!!!!

What a lot of folks are missing & some non-hunting legislators brought up “LOT tags - this is meant for people growing crops or income from the land. They must be filing a schedule F. Im not a hunter but there’s a lot of complaints that the program is being misused by people who are not farming...

OFFENSE!! 2 Bills to support!! SF 293 & SF 247 EMAIL IN!!! What a great change!!!!

I might have missed it but what did someone decide was the purpose of anyone getting a landowner tag regardless of acres owned? Were they created for depredation for loss to crops/revenue or something else?

    Thermal Drones for deer surveys

I used to do the Coralville city hunt. Ran out of area we could hunt without bumping another hunter or getting called Bambi killer when we walked in/out of areas the city let us hunt. For the most part everyone was cool when they figured out what we were doing, only had a couple bad eggs bear...

OFFENSE!! 2 Bills to support!! SF 293 & SF 247 EMAIL IN!!! What a great change!!!!

We are always saying and concerned that our DNR and state is under funded. With the decline of deer and harvest numbers by all groups will we be declining again with less tags sales in the future? Less antlerless tags out the door means less income for our DNR and natural resources we all...

The Future of Iowa Deer Hunting and a One Buck Limit

I believe loss of habitat has to be part of the problem as well. Areas where deer have been living the last 50 years is now a development to homes and the farmers as well have removed trees, CRP and other areas that gave them a chance to spread out and survive. Pushing the herd into more...

    Hounds

I remember years ago being down in Davis County one afternoon when the locals were running their coyote dogs, they had been going for almost 2 miles and radios showed they were coming to a gravel road. I have never seen a display of deer crossing a road like that before. There had to have been...

New Podcast: BAD IA BILLS, EHD, CWD, etc

It blew me away when you were referencing how many EHD cases aren't reported or even found and the amount that jumps up to! Thats a huge hit on our herd the last 2 years.

    Tags need to go

I don't watch any of those shows. I have seen clips from some and really don't get the impression that everything they take is genuine, more like they have to shoot something to make a show. More about making a living off the kill than giving the animal the credit it deserved. I think landowners...
