Take a couple bottles of hydrogen peroxide and put into a larger spray bottle. Then get on the last place you found the blood. Trail it at night and the blood will show up. It should give you a good idea to which direction he was heading.

Thought I would try the apple thing out, I've seen a few doing it on Iowawhitetail. Seems as though it has some good pulling power for pictures before the season. I'm pretty sure the buck I shot years ago is his daddy. Picture enclosed.

I had a couple of the Wildgame S2 cameras and they lasted about a month. Took them back and bought a MoultrieGamespy D55 and haven't looked back since. Personally for the money and quality, Moultrie cameras are hard to beat.

Does anyone have experience in planting Canola in Iowa? Would like to plant it in hopes that it would draw out some deer for late season muzzelloader. I have been told that it can be planted in spring-summer-fall. If so what are the best times? Thanks

Does anyone know the time by which sugar beets could be planted in south central iowa. I have the ground worked up and didn't know ther best time to plant them. I even asked a couple local seed dealers and they couldn't tell me. And as far as round-up, do I spray the ground to kill all the grass...
