I have hunted North Central Missouri, and the areas that I hunted in Mo get hunted more that here in Iowa. The birds were a little more call shy, but still managed to get one. Were you on public or private?

I take some meat every year to Ridgeport (just north of Boone) to have some brats and sausage made. They are priced really reasonable and everything turns our great that I have had done up there.

I have a lab at home and it is inside 100% of the time. They are fine in the house, and in my opinion better socialized that way. The lab is about 8 now and I know she sleeps 23 hours a day and eats the rest of the time. They are great dogs, and good luck!
