    Crossbow Bolt Length

Hey guys. Wondering if there is any difference in length regulations for crossbow bolts and bow arrows. Found 18" for arrows in the regs under Archery, but nothing stated in the Crossbow section/definition. I'm assuming it would be the same, but just wondering.

    Booner Acorns?

You guys have probably seen some this big, maybe bigger, but these have to be the biggest acorns I've ever found! Anyone have bigger? IMG958113 by StickersNKickers posted Aug 30, 2019 at 3:17 PMIMG958114 by StickersNKickers posted Aug 30, 2019 at 3:17 PM

    Backpack

I was thinking the same thing. I'm not really particular on brand or camo pattern, mostly just enough space to hold stuff. I do like having the ability to leave the bag behind if I don't need it (when I can convince myself of that) and just take the fanny pack.

    Squirrel Chatter

Probably trying to warn them. They think all of us hunters are only out to shoot a buck! Maybe trying to protect their chew toys?

    Squirrel Chatter

On a walk today at lunch, heard a squirrel chattering in a tree above me. Brought back many memories of hearing them chatter while waiting for Mr. Big Buck! :)

    Backpack

Yeah, I've had that problem when I get the bag I use really full. Probably need to upgrade to some less bulky clothing, but for now, I use what I have. A lot of times I probably over pack for the hunt, but I can't seem to take less because of the "what if I need it" factor.

    Shed Home Costs

So the 2" insulation is flat under the floor, not vertical along the foundation, correct? I'm assuming the foundation/insulation is not normal practice for a post frame building that is intended for a shed use. I'm now wondering about costs of converting an existing shed to living space as well.

    Backpack

Hey guys, wondering what you all are using for a backpack for a day hunt for whitetails. I've been using the bag from my hub blind to carry heavier clothing, rattling antlers, tripod seat, etc. and a fanny style pack for smaller stuff like calls, drink, lunch, knife, etc. The blind bag doesn't...

    Shed Home Costs

Thanks for the info guys, keep it coming! For stick built, I've been quoted between $150-225/sq ft with basement, depending on finishes ($225 was custom made everything). Modular homes have been quoted at about $135 (I believe without the basement). Those look like 12' walls to me, but...

    Shed Home Costs

Hey guys, I know a few of you on here have built shed homes and I'm wondering if you could give me any ideas on cost. Obviously final cost would depend on size and finishes, but wondering about average cost/sq. ft. Wondering if there is a breakdown on the cost of the building and then to...

Yep! Had that happen with one buck I was after at least twice one year. But he was the one who was late!

    Wyoming Mulie and Antelope

Nice! Just read the story. Sounds like pretty cool hunts. Must have had a couple guns, or did your gun grow overnight? :)

    Apple/Pear Trees

Gotcha. I could see those issues being a problem.

    Apple/Pear Trees

On the pears, can you weigh down the ends or every so often along the branch with something instead of using spreaders? I've never done it, but also have a pear tree in the yard that has grown straight up (there when I bought the place).
