    Landowner gifts

Obviously, I should have been more specific. I rarely use any trail cam pics. I use landscape photos, wildlife pics and harvest pics that i take from around their properties. Here's a few from this years calendar.

    Landowner gifts

I make my landowner a calendar every year of photos from around his farm. Simple but they really appreciate it. I also made a custom cake knife this year for their daughter's wedding per the brides request. It was no charge, something they didn't expect.

I hammered a doe at about 5 yds about 2 inches up from the shoulder leg joint. :( It hit her so hard that it knocked her down on her side and then she got up and ran through the woods with most of...

    Rebuilding tines/antler staining

Pretty good work. :) Try Apoxie Sculpt next time for the repairs. Much easier to use than bondo. Here's a post i did a long time ago for repairing antlers. Just DON't use the RTV as shown. The formula has changed and is about impossible to remove. Use latex instead or any of the commercial mold...

    Elk Scouting Trip

I wish!!! :D seriously, the wife and I visited the Lee G Simmons Conservation Park and Wildlife Safari at Ashland Ne. on Monday. It is part of the Henry Doorly Zoo and is a great place to photograph big four legged critters. :) The herd bull elk was bugling a bit and I want to go back when the...
