I enjoyed doing them until individuals on the forum called my job and complained about me shooting a bull elk in Wyoming. Not much fun when people online ruin your life because they have nothing better to do than call and curse out my boss and HR for hours. Bad apples spoil the bunch.

Why not be accurate with your data and figure out actual age via tooth sampling areas/specific counties at a time? Sounds lazy because they could easily be doing more to gather better data.

If anybody is interested in doing a 8 day archery/rifle caribou hunt in August, no dates planned yet, renting a car and tent camping. Rough hiking don't want to hike the 5 miles out on my own so need to be in shape. I'd venture to guess it'll cost in the $1,500-2,000 range total for everything...

I'm for less permits and less Government nit-picking. Make sure you ask the Government permission for everything and pay a permit fee for everything too sounds like...freedom? I've said it a hundred times and I'll say it again when you're sitting there in hunting camp during archery season...

No, he didn’t get one and only saw cows. I wish I was his sub permittee, he didn’t let me know until last minute and I couldn’t get work off. He went guided too. We’re each other’s sub permittee’s now.
