The last few times I cleaned my muzzleloader I put the breech plug in the oven to speed up the drying time and ensure all moisture is gone. Can this weaken the metal? Is this dangerous?

This is my first year hunting them. I shot mine the other day with a .17 HMR. Double lunged her and she ran 50 yards. What is everyone's favorite call to use?

Giant man!! Congrats! Regardless of what he broke off, you killed that buck. Missing a few tines doesn't mean you didn't earn them. I would consider fixing him because he was so incredibly unique. Nice buck.

I called her in to 100 yards with a rabbit in distress call. About 10 minutes after daylight. It was a quick fun hunt!

I did the same with my midwest bale blind. It is water tight and really cuts back on the wind.

That 2nd picture cat definitely looks like a nice one. I couldn't tell you on weight. This will be my 1st year actually hunting them. Just have to wait until i'm done muzzleloader hunting.

That's pretty cool to see two. I saw two young ones together in Nov 2014. I saw a big female this year the same day I shot my archery buck.
