    STS

Boyd put a new slip on silencer on my Guardian, only lasted about 40 shots though. I think the STS might be the way to go.

    Man-made waterholes

[ QUOTE ] With the tank, I'd just be worried about small animals falling in and not being able to get back out. [/ QUOTE ] I thought about that too. I would think you could just put a long 2x4 in the tank on an angle that they could use to crawl out? Definately dont want dead critters...

    Gun Safes?

One thing to remember, that fire safe on the 2nd floor wont be on the 2nd floor after the fire.

    STS

In your opinion, would the use of an STS type product eliminate the need for standard string suppresors? I am having trouble keeping silencers on my Guardian. As soon as one flies off, the string noise increases noticeably. I guess there is just too much POWER!!!!

    Bobcat or not?

Got any pics of deer standing in that spot for reference? I dunno, looks pretty big to me, I'd vote small doe or even a 'yote.

What do you think this little guy will score?

That buck is a TOAD!! Is that a hand dug water hole? Is that some type of liner I see? Doesnt look like it would get much run-off, are you filling it with a tank or is just rain water keeping it full? I've been thinking of trying something like that.

    Too far?

I can shoot well at 40 yards all day in the yard, but from 25' up in the timber that 40 yards looks more like 80. I'd rather not shoot over 30 and never intentionally set up at more than 25 from where I expect them to offer a shot. If I had my choice they would all show up at about 18 yards.

    Gun Safes?

Since your building a house, here is what I wish I had done. Most houses have some type of porch or entry, under which is a concrete room with a dirt floor, and isnt usually accessible from the basement. If you have a doorway framed in and a concrete floor poured in it, you could add a safe door...

    Pregnant Still?

I had a couple that looked like that too, however one did have a fawn with it. I wonder if a fawn born this late would make it through the winter?

Who shoots with a wrist sling?

[ QUOTE ] Got rid of mine years ago because it's just something to look at before you grab your bow. Simplicity is the best as far as i'm concerned. I ve shot w/ out one ever since and haven't had a problem keeping steady or losing my bow. [/ QUOTE ] Same here. I cant see how a loose one...

    Best of last week

I agree that 8 looks just a tad under 150, but that certainly wouldnt stop me from shooting him. He has long mains and a really good frame.

    Nice eight point

    Poast Plus application rate?

Just a little update on the Poast Plus for those who wondered how it worked. I ended up with about a 50% kill I would say, the other half is stunned and hasnt grown since but hasnt died either. It's stuck in a half green half brown state. On the plus side, there is none of the small foxtail in...

    Clover and turnip/bean plots

We picked up another 1.5" of rain last night for a total of 3.5" since I planted. That ought to do for a while.

    guardian OWNERS

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] No issues, still love it, s-coil. [/ QUOTE ] I have the exact same set up and am still loving it. [/ QUOTE ] Ditto. Only difference is I put the S-coil with the added modular donut thingy on it, seemed I could detect a slight advantage to it. Only problem Ive had is...
