    Property Lookup

FYI...If by chance you're looking for Franklin County...I think you'll have to pay. The site wanted me to create a user account. I looked into it further and it said you have to send in payment to become a user. That being said. I then tried Appanoose County next and it went right to the...

    Ozonics

I've been reading all the threads on here about Ozonics and have been pretty hesitant to pipe up because the debate seems to be pretty intense and I'm one usually to avoid debating. That being said I thought I would finally speak up since I'm one of the guys that isn't on Todd's team or...

Best Pheasant Auto-loader? Stoeger? Price, where purchase??

I just bought a Browning Maxus. It's a sweet gun...No kick and fast. Easy to clean and handles great. It was either that or the Benelli M2 for me and I liked the Browning more. If you want a gun for a little less I have heard some pretty good reviews on the Stoeger 3500/2000. shotgunworld...

    Off the Roost

Nice video...I really like seeing those head shot bow kills. I've wounded a few birds over the years with the conventional broad heads and body shots. I'm looking forward to using the bullheads this year.

Best pole saw on the market

I have this Fiskar model and I think its one of the best out there. It's rope free has a chain driven pruner and you can connect a saw to it as well. http://www2.fiskars.com/Products/Yard-and-Garden/Pruning-Stik-R/Pruning-Stik-R-Telescoping-Tree-Pruner-12

    custom made deer antler stuff

Cool looking Antler items!! My only question for you is if using antler for pipes is safe. My friends Dad makes pens from antlers and grinds them down on a lathe. He told me that breathing in the antler dust is very bad for you, so I just wanted to make sure that that using antler pipes is safe.

    Homebrew cameras?

Here is the best site IMO to go when looking to learn how to build cameras. http://homebrews.forumwww.com/ I knew nothing about wiring or anything like that and I started reading and talking to people on this website and have now built three cameras. These cameras blow commercial cameras out...

    Binocular recommendations

I would look at the Vortex as well. My Dad has the Monarch's and I have Stokes which was a line made for bird watching by Vortex.I would say my binos are better then the Monarchs and their warranty alone is enough reason to buy them over anything else.

    Grunt

A guy I know rattled in a 140" 8 point last weekend and shot it. I would definitely give rattling and grunting a shot. I would go light with the rattling though. I wouldn't wait til November....you need to capture the opportunity while you have it. You have no idea what the deer might do...

    questionable kill

Its your second season bow hunting congrats!! Be happy about your buck..don't let others tell you what to shoot and what not to shoot. Its your choice and I would shoot what makes you happy. You may at some point want to let younger bucks walk, but that will come with time and will be your...

    Advice? Missed Buck???

I would put a G5 small game head or judo tip on an arrow and rein-act the shot. The G5 head will keep your arrow from being lost under the leaves etc. Then start searching with your detector in that vicinity. The fact that you didn't start looking til the next morning leads me to believe that...

    Another Map option

Bing is one of my favorite mapping sites especially if you can get a birds eye of your area. I have found that http://mapper.acme.com/ is also very good. It doesn't have as great of aerial photos, but the topo and terrain feature make up for it!!
