I'm in the market for a new climber. I used to have a Summit many years ago so I know they're good quality. I primarily just bow hunt so I had my eye on the Cobra or Razor.. Any other recommendations out there besides Lone Wolf? Does the cross bar of the Titan or Viper get in the way of your bow?

I always said that if someone offered me good money like that to display my deer I wouldn't hesitate. Could easily get a replica made with that money and get a boat or whatever on the side. That deer will always be known as the Franz Buck and he'll always have the story to tell.

Looks like another foggy morning out here in DBQ, which means I'll be in the stand.

Going off of a forecast that is 2-3 weeks out is pretty ballsy. I'd go with the 2nd week regardless of what the temps do, IF you have to get your vacation on the books. Anyone throwing the towel for the next few days until it cools down Tuesday?

If you're still in contact with the landowner I would only deal with him. I'd first ask him if it's legit that it's actually leased out and not someone trying to pull a scam. I'd then ask to get your stands out of there if it is fact leased out.

I found the Evercalm and the Rutting Buck as a package for a decent price, so ill give it a go. Sounds like the Evercalm is more of a cover while the Rutting Buck is more of an attractant.

I think temp change has a bigger effect on deer movement than moon phases. Ive read studies supporting that a bright night will keep the deer nocturnal and vice versa. Guess the only way to find out is to sit out and see for myself!

I was wondering the same thing. Had deer on my cam everyday until about 2 weeks ago. Now i may get a pic every couple days.

I had my first sit last night with only a couple doe and a fork that came by. My memory card had a malfunction or something so I dont have a clue whats been coming by the past couple weeks. I thought I had one patterned down but thats changed. Thanks for the welcome and advice. Good Luck!
