From the 3 other super fuzzy pictures I got in this sequence, I think he is this deer I got on camera a couple times last year. I'm guessing due to the short brows and the longer G3 on the left than the left G2 which is fairly clear in the original picture.
Hope to see more of him when I...
I have these on public ground. I don't mess around when I hang them.
15 feet at a minimum. I'm waiting for some Jack-hole to shoot them cuz he can't steal them.
I'm not sure if he is a daywalker or not. A nearby cornfield came out the week I hung this cam so its possible he got pushed in the woods and by my camera. I haven't gotten any other pics yet. But that stupid camera took a lot of night pics and they were all black, so I dont even know if he's...
Need some opinions on this deer. I just bought this camera and this guy came by it about 3 days after hanging it (obviously I didn't set the date right). Anyway, I have exchanged this camera due to pic quality, but by looking at the body size and trying to clean up the image some, he looks very...
I bought the Mantis (the one that you can angle the camera head) about 3 weeks ago. Pic quality kinda really sucks and the night pics are all black. Is this camera broken or is this normal for these camera's? It's going back to bps either way this weekend. I just need to know if I exchange...
Gave out 5 safety harnesses at the Fishermen's Swap meet this morning. Guys couldn't believe they were free and happy to get one. Wish I had more to give out here.
How much difderent is hunting a food plot vs a salt block? All seems the same to me and guys buy dvd's all the time of guys hunting over plots. I don't get it.
This post is trademarked, but I'm coming out with salt block decoys. Soon to be available at your local sporting goods stores. All you have to do is dig up the mineral dirt and replace it and set my decoy in that area and game on. Guarantee ya'll shoot big bucks over my decoys.
They look like a pain to reload in the stand if you needed a 2nd shot in a hurry. I'll stick with my bow. But I really don't see why the perception is they are more lethal than a compound. Hell, you can put a scope on a compound these days if you really wanted to. And really, anybody who...
Finally got out to rake my camera down today and was pleases to see two of these bucks on in late january and one pic just 3 days ago. The big one with all the kickers and stickers (and has shed his left side) and the shot in the butt wide rack. Looks like I'm going for a longer walk tomorrow.
I hunted it the first couple seasons and was successful in avoiding shooting a shed buck. Now that the numbers are down, I haven't hunted it the past 2 years.
I think our shotgun group is pretty good at thinning out the does during 2nd shotgun season.
Maybe if they want to keep the...
I need to revise my trail cam strategy. I have a good spot that big deer use, but only have one camera in the area. It's a huge timber, so I really don't know where these deer are bedding at. I have ideas but I need to place more cameras around so I can get a better idea of where they are...
Love his hunt last year where he missed with a Muzzy at something like 60 yards. Unfortunately he won't have good first hand experience of what the actual deer population is like by hunting places like this. I should throw him in one of my stands to get a real picture. Like others have said...
