Went out last night for a couple hours to try and call in a dog or two. It was dead out right up to the time when I was closing the door on the truck after packing up.
They started yipping and howling like they were rubbing it in. Dang things.
Not following the covid comments. . . . . How do we know what % of deer have covid again. I heard this before, but were they doing swabs at the lockers or what?
You know when you're in your man cave you will tell the guys the story about that nice 145" 10pt over there in about 3 min. The story on this one will take a lot longer and they will tell how much more it means to you.

This has been an uneventful season so far. Even my trail cams are not seeing much. The most excitement I've had was a three legged coyote. Typical bowhunting though I guess. Hours of boredom for a few minutes of action . . .
Some of it could be just less people posting about them too. . . . I don't know, it just seemed like there were always a few decent ones shot by now. Good luck guys
Maybe I am imagining it, but it seems like every year some of you have connected on bucks you had patterned during opening week.
