I must be the only one...

BDAHMS I wasnt trying to put anyone down here and like I said Ive tried alot of different things on here and like alot of them. I actually plan on trying what you put on here at some point because it looks amazing. You didnt mash up your loin and add beef or pork to it. Its still deer steak. I...

I must be the only one...

I must be the only one who actually enjoys the gamey taste of everything I am lucky enough to harvest and eat. Nothing against all of you that add beef or do everything they can to mask the gamey taste. I myself have done a few of the recipes on here and enjoyed them all, but man to me there...

Kansas Prince = New Iowa Archery World Record?

TTT I really want to know what the conclusion on this is going to be. Sure as hell looks like the same rack to me. With people claiming to have seen the deer and know the guy and all that its hard to say. Hopefully some sort of information will come out soon.

    what you think?

Looks like a big boy to me. Definately mature. Good mass and if you zoom in the beams seem to stretch out there. Hopefully you get to see him up close.

    Adjusting Draw Weight

The main reason you would max the bow out first would be to make sure that you have equal turns on both limbs when you reduce your weight. Its not exactly accurate but a good rule of thumb to go by is it is about 3 pounds less for every complete turn.

Exit strategies when surrounded by deer?

The farm I hunt unfortunatly has 1 dog that has a habit of chasing deer from time to time but it never seems to stop them from coming out where they come out every night. My exit strategy normally consists of barking like a dog and the deer usually scatter. Like I mentioned tho these deer are...

    Lil bit of fun

Well we took a few fillets and cut them into cubes and boiled them in a crab boil. Turned out all right. Would have been better with more flavoring but in my opinion it had a trout taste with the consistency of chicken somewhat. We also just fried some up and it was hit in our household...

    Age and Score?

Maybe im just crazy or going blind but that deer looks to be a mature 3 year old to me at least. He has some what looks to be pretty nobby bases and some insane browtines. Im gunna say 3 or better and pry in the 130's. If he could get some tine length to go with those brows...he would be a...
