I got a postcard in the mail today from the Iowa DNR (Jace Elliott with the Deer Research Program) asking to complete a survey. I just filled it out and it took about 20 minutes. I thought it was beneficial and topics included:
Crossbows
Rifles
Night Vision predator hunting
Trail cameras
Drones...
Man, I'm sure glad I don't have any stories to add to this one and I hope I don't in the future. Sucks for you guys who have been harassed - that could take the fun out of it real quick.

I don't imagine so. He is just hunting public land so that's more what that segment was about in my opinion. I didn't see anything about DNR in the sponsors.
I know this is an old thread but for anyone on the fence about getting a pair of boot gaiters I'd highly recommend it. I bought some Kenetrek gaiters last fall on sale and have worn them quite a bit for hunting and shed hunting and wish I would have purchased a pair years ago.

I decided to head back to the property that I shot a tom at during second season because there were lots of birds in the area. My plan was to get to a high ridge and listen for gobbles and make a move. I was able to get there before they started gobbling and quickly realized most of the birds...
