    What's next for Republicans?

The math doesn’t make sense….. People felt so strongly that they came out to vote against Trump in 2020 but evidently Trump grew on them and they were no longer interested in voting against him that they decided not to vote in 2024….

    Switch vs. Indian

So what I have been calling switch grass is actually Indian grass. Seems like more people suggest switch but now knowing more of what I have I like the Indian grass better. Very prolific, gets tall and burns good. From reading up on it seems like Indian might have more wildlife benefits when...

Social media comments on deer, etc…

VERY WELL SAID! No social media for me and never post or send pics over texts. Crazy how fast those things pass to the judgmental and I don’t care to read or listen to it. I have said before very similar to your statement, I don’t hunt or shoot the deer I do to show them off! Don’t really...

Low movement of bucks? And apple trees

Unfortunately just enough to settle dust here in SWIA.

    Rye...now??

Winter rye will germinate and grow in mid to upper 30 degree temps. If you are drilling it and get a rain or any soil moisture there is a good chance it gets up yet this fall and has some growth to it. I think Daver you are in the southern part of Iowa and I know a lot of people that put cover...

    Tactacam Cell Plan

I’m more than happy with the service just did not know about the multi shot counting toward the starter and intermediate plan. I was just wanting others to know how it worked. I can assure this experience is what everyone under the starter or intermediate plan that does not pay the extra $9...

    Tactacam Cell Plan

My starter plan shows 500 pics for 2 cams. Between the two cams I received 250 pics and the other 250 were from multi shot set on 2 which got me to 500 but only half show on the app. And the other half would never come through app b/c multi shot on 2.

    Tactacam Cell Plan

Yeah news to me. Glad I mentioned it because sounds like I wasn’t the only one that didn’t know! I’d surely consider not having on 2/3 shot if ANY chance of high activity.

    Tactacam Cell Plan

Really surprises me it is set up that way. I can get photos off the SD card without paying a service fee….

    Tactacam Cell Plan

Maybe I am the only one that didn’t know this but with Tactacam Starter and Intermediate plans your photo count includes multi shot which is never sent to your phone but only stored on SD card. I had a cam blow up on leaves but stayed under my plan photo count on pictures sent to my phone...

    Central Iowa real estate attorney

I used to work out of that area and used Eric for real estate transactions back then. Glad to see he still doing good work.

    Common here.

Agreed. And I think that is why generally speaking MO doesn’t have the high end deer that everyone thinks it should. Hunters and antler point restrictions took the place of Darwinism and have caused the genetic quality to go backwards. I have heard the golden triangle in IL is the same way...

    Switch planting now??

Could he also drill it in as a dormant seeding this Nov’ish? Pretty sure NWSG CRP plantings allow this. And could still spray gly on cover in early spring?

    Food Plots - Eye Opening

That is crazy because the first year I planted brassicas in a food plot the deer hardly touched them. I’ve read here that sometimes it takes a year for deer to develop a taste for them. Sounds like the size of the plot and proximity to bedding may have fast forwarded the deer’s taste.

    Fence Laws

I’m no lawyer but have had some dealings with this. There are some other criteria for adverse possession to be claimed and effective. A filing of fence of convenience I believe covers the landowner once it is known that the fence is off or when the fence is built off the property line.

One of these things doesnt belong.....

Good luck. A few will but most will look to the established operations that have nice equipment and pay good rents!
