I am currently shooting an ulti-mag with a kicks choke and using win.3 1/2" 5's so if I wanted to try the hevi shot what would you recommend as far as shot size?
Ok guys we have been sitting on fields and we are finally starting to see some does moving again but my question is, should we be in the timber if we expect to shoot a buck? We have not seen a single buck since December 18th and there is really no pressure on the farm we hunt. Really baffled by...
RC if it were me I wouldnt make a sound once you are in place. The bigger bucks have seen and heard it all for months. If you can find them I would just get in position and sit very quietly and hope for a shot.
Thanks everyone. And slice I have been wondering the same thing about the moon. Sat in a blind tonight overlooking a pasture type area and had 3 does come out right at dark. We are going to try and sit up in timber tomorrow and try to locate something. Man you hope for this type weather then it...
They were hammering the picked beans here to until the cold and snow hit and now its like they just stopped feeding but I know they have to feed right now!
Not hardly seeing does let alone bucks right now but I know they have to start feeding heavy or starve. Really tough hunting right now but no giving up in me!

I agree with Shredder, I had way more problems with the 777 then I have ever had with BH209. I use Butchs solvent and it melts it away and cleans up fast. I thought you werent going to use 209 Liv? I think its the best powder on the market hands down.
Thanks everyone. I have not done anything yet but I think I will try the hidden camara trick. I am planning on calling the DNR just so they know about it. I think this could be an all out war with this guy before seasons end.
So how in the world do you all deal with trail cam thiefs? Im sure I know who but not positive. Im thinking about just calling the piece of sh$t and telling him point blank that I want what is mine back. He just got told he could no longer go accross the land we hunt to get to his timber and all...
