So we've got a farm that really holds no bucks during the summer but once the bucks shed their velvet we start getting pictures of mature bucks. It's just frustrating to have cameras going all summer and get very little mature bucks. We have a really think doe population on our farm.. Farm...
i know! you seem to have better luck up there than me anyway!! But with this new farm i dont think you stand a chance :) Im getting pic's of at least 30 birds every day! It helps that our ground is the high point around and that's where they all roost :)
My Dad ownes 130 acres that has 30 or so turkeys on it all the time. Usually when we walk the farm the turkeys fly to the surrounding farms. Do you guys think we could both hunt the farm at the same time without scaring the turkeys away if one of us shoots? Or do you think we should alternate...
The lakes your talking about are Prairie Lakes just off Hudson Road. I've caught a few walleyes and smallies down below the old broom factory by the RR bridge also!
alright all you trail camera freaks. I need help. Im getting a lot of pictures in the middle of the night that are really foggy and in the morning my cameras are full of dew/condensation. IS there anything I can do to prevent this?
Do you think cat crap or rainx on the lens would help. Or...
I am only suggesting the birdseye is better than google earth and thats it(for those it's available for). The normal aerial is just like every other web site...I only posted this for those who wanted to see a different view. sorry.

pull up the aerial on your screen.
hit screen print(above your backspace key)
go to paint and hit paste
crop out the section you want...
I dont know if anyone else checked this out but I think it blows away google earth. Go to Bing.com...click maps, Type in your location, Scroll to your land...click birdseye view. This is the most detailed aerial I've found.

I would typically agree with you. I have alway done that in the past to get an inventory of the deer on the property. But we are trying to figure out travel patterns and main trails as well. Im just looking for other opinions and ideas. Thanks everyone for the input so far :) Is...
So here's the deal. I've been back and forth with my Dad on trail camera set up on a new property we have recently purchased. I am very familar with Trail cameras and scouting. I run 5 buckeye cams currently with 3 more on the way. Last year I had over 10k pictures. The new property is 140...
i love them. Yes they are expensive but we have a cabin with a computer with a phone line hooked up so we can access the pictures from home. I have the cameras hooked up to solar panels so the batteries dont die. We live a hour away so we figured this would save money/time not having to drive...
