I personally had 0 success with turnip/raddish plots until we started fencing them. Granted they were mostly 1/4 to 1/2 acre plots and not multiple acres but they were eaten off to bare dirt every time. Fenced in a couple and had great success.

Buddy of mine took an old Minneapolis (I think) out of his neighbors ditch that still had steel wheels and horse drawn gear and converted it do a 3 pt. Replaced a few drop tubes and it works perfect.

I looked at 2 plots last Saturday and noticed the same thing. One was really yellowing. Hopefully rain coming this week. Bean plots look great though.

Thanks for suggestions. Hopefully should have plenty of grains/brassicas elsewhere. Was leaning towards alfalfa for a little income vs spending more on another plot if it would be worth it. Not much experience with it. Other than the millions of small squares I stacked growing up.

I am taking 2 fields out of crops and putting into CRP next spring. One bottom field approx 10 acres and one hill top field approx 15 acres. I also have a 4.5 acre field that is crops now but for whatever reason isn't eligible for the CRP plan. In this 4.5 acre field I have left 1 acre of crops...

Few years back we took some sheets of 4x8 2 inch insulation and framed it up around a wall ac unit. Used that cool bot that 1983 is talking about. It worked great. Amazing how cool it kept it.

Couple years ago I cut some barrels in half and tried putting a couple out with the mineral sitting on a platform so it was raised above barrel. I didn't put holes in the bottom because I didn't want mineral leaching into the soil. Deer avoiding them like the plaque and after going to take them...

Wasn’t she appointed to her SS position by Biden after working in the private sector. That would pretty much sum it. One incompetent person handing a job to another incompetent person. I’d bet a fair amount the failures on her part were done on purpose and probably had orders from above.
