I'm planning on a fall planting of Alfalfa how did your siberian do so far? I like the idea of planting it only once and having years of growth rather than reseeding it again in 4 years. Not really looking for yield but a self sustaining food plot.
Have you tried tyrone or hutchenson varieties? I was wondering if they do better since what I read about them was that they were a large bushy variety of ag bean.
I'm planning on trying Eagle soybeans this year and mixing them with regular RR soybeans. Going with the game keeper variety in one row of my planter and ag beans in the other. That way it will be two rows of ag and two of eagle beans. That way I have pods come frost and hopefully a draw into...
Is there a reason why they won't work? I've had 4g in my cheapy camera and it worked without issue. The reason I'm asking is I just ordered two of the covert II cameras and am waiting for delivery. I don't want any issues.
I'm not very familiar with their use. But if you mark a point, waypoint, and walk away or towards it will it show you the distance to and from a set spot? Correct? Is it in feet or yards if it does?
For example our farm is a rectangle but hasn't been surveyed in over 50 years. My side...
Internally are these two cameras basically the same? Need a camera with good quality IR pictures. My cameras were terrible with IR, just a big blur with movement.
I'm looking for two IR cameras and want to keep the price under $200 each. I previously wasted money on two wildview IR cameras and don't want to have the same problem. I would prefer something small that can be hidden in plain site as we have constant trespassers on our property.
Thanks in...
Thanks this year I'm planning on sorghum or egyptian wheat in that field and then switchgrass the following year. Two years of atrazine should pretty much knock out any weeds.
We have problems in that field and I want the high growth the first year it's where a neighbor with atv's constantly...
Don't know if it is a sweet deal, there was a single row cultipacker listed for $200.00 at the same time so the deals are out there. I ended up putting almost 6 hrs of seat time in the truck picking it up. I now find that I check craigs list every couple of days to see what's new. I bet if I...
If using atrazine, how many pounds per acre of big bluestem would you recomend when planting cove in rock switchgrass? I don't want to have a year with little to no cover in the area I'm planting and think that the bluestem would help.
I picked up a double row 9 foot cultipacker this winter for $250.00. Found it on craigs list. Looks similiar to the one posted on page two of this thread. No this isn't the one I purchased just pasted the photo to show the style.
You shouldn't have any problem carrying a pack with your climbing stand. Sometimes you have to be resourceful in how you carry the pack but once you figure it out it's easy.
I checked Missouri's and while it didn't say it wouldn't ship out of state it listed it as a discount source for it's states resident. I'll try it.
Thanks.
I wanted to order seedlings from Penn Nursery it's our Pa. state funded seed source. When checking stock for next spring plantings here the message that was posted on their site.

I think I'm going to give the falcata a try this spring, using the red clover. I like the idea of a biannual without worrying if it's going to spread and choke out the alfalfa.
