I watch parts flipping through channels. If I see a part that is not in a long commercial break I'll watch a while, especially if it is 5-10 minutes before the end of the half hour. I'm pretty neutral on them. They are there if I feel like looking and easy enough to ignore if I don't want to.
I agree that a lot of the product endorsed are poor products and I definitely don't like all of their hunting methods, but that is where each person gets the chance to use their own mind to decide what they watch or buy or how they hunt. If the show "hurts" a person by buying a bad product or hunting with unreasonable expectations I feel like that is much more of a reflection on the person making those choices than a TV show.
