“Hunting Whitetails by the Moon"

I believe that the phase of the moon and the weather have a great deal to do with successfully harvesting deer.

I thought it might be interesting to see what some of you think about “Hunting Whitetails by the Moon”.

You just need to be out as much as you can during the rut, but I do feel a guy is probably best off hunting the afternoon after a clear night and a full moon in November. In general I believe most bucks run all night and lay low in the morning after nights like that.

I also hunt anytime I can. One never knows when a big one will step out in front of you.

But I firmly believe that you do see more deer in different moon phases.
Last year it was a later one where I am at but am looking forward to this year's earlier moon phase.
