You just need to be out as much as you can during the rut, but I do feel a guy is probably best off hunting the afternoon after a clear night and a full moon in November. In general I believe most bucks run all night and lay low in the morning after nights like that.
I also hunt anytime I can. One never knows when a big one will step out in front of you.
But I firmly believe that you do see more deer in different moon phases.
Last year it was a later one where I am at but am looking forward to this year's earlier moon phase.
