I have most of my Iowa hunting and fishing permits from 1981 to 96 or so. When did we go to the damn printout permits? IMHO there is too much crap to carry around in your wallet these days to be legal.

Here's another one you guys might enjoy seeing. This was just sent my way by IW's own "Earl E. Nove...mber". 1958 was the fourth archery deer season in Nebraska and the second year in which the entire state was open to bowhunters. In 1958 1,136 archers were issued permits and they took 221 deer. The holder of this permit ate tag soup because his permit was never cancelled.
