Don't feel bad, I gave $550 for this mount three years ago. So alive he looks like he could just lick ya!
Seriously though, this deer was killed by my uncle in 1970 and my aunt was throwing it away when I save him. Named him Sasafrass and he hangs in our shop as a reminder of how far taxidermy techniques and materials have come since those days. Good taxidermy is an art form and just like any other service, you get what you pay for most times. .
If you put that head on a decoy, you'd scare away every deer in the area
