This is the best hunting site on the net, hands down. What makes it so great is the wide variety of people who share their opinions, experiences, and knowledge with others. With that comes the realization that having so many poeple from so many walks of life you will have a wide variety other other interests, values, and beliefs. What ties us all together is the hunting...right?
If hunting is what we are here for then why should I have to screen my children from the avatars on this site? My wife does daycare and my lunch hour was spent checking this site, but that has now changed. There are only a few users that have innappropriate avatars but they are bad enough that my wife has laid down the law and this site won't be on while our children are around. Why should it be that way?
I have thought about contacting the moderators about the issue but why should they be bothered with it? Use some common sense. I don't care if you support gay rights, use drugs, break the law, or commit hate crimes. Do what you want on your own time but if you hunt, I'd love to talk to you about it. I wouldn't expect to see Marijuana leafs, KKK emblems, or sex acts on the avatars so why should the mostly naked woman avatars be any different? This is a hunting site!!! Show me a photo of a buck you shot, a shed you found, or a trail cam photo, that is what we are here for.
I know that I could use the ignore user option but that doesn't take the photo away and who knows, I might want to hear what you have to say. I could ignore all photos but then I can't see the appropriate ones??
I know this was discussed under a post under a different topic but it aparently did no good. I am politely asking that everyone keep their avatars appropriate so that I can enjoy this site with my children and anyone else who might walk by. I hope I'm not alone on this one!
