I just had a light bulb go off! All this happened in front of a game camera. I just went and pulled the card and got a couple of cool photos.
In my original post, i mention the two toms that were coming in but suddenly turned and ran away. This first photo is of them just before they took off. Check the time.

This next photo has to be taken at the time I'm pulling the trigger. I remember letting him clear the tall weeds to the right just before shooting. I think that in a blink of an eye after this pic was taken, he was flopping.
