Bing.com Birdseye view

According to this, I still have a fort & trampoline in my backyard that have been gone for almost 7 years now.

I can get the Birds eye view and it looks great.....I just cant seem to figure out how to save or print it!

That is cool. The birds eye view caught me half done plowing up some old pasture to turn to hay ground. Thats a little under 3 years ago.

No need to be sorry Khopp4. Thats some pretty interesting stuff that i'm sure alot of people didn't know.

You have to go 40 miles west of me before you start seeing the birdseye view, but maybe someday.

It's hard to believe some of these aerial photos being 3 or 7 years old. You guys mean the birdseye view, or the regular aerial photo?

I love finding different aerial photos and mapping software.

Google Earth is better for my hunting locations :( but is awesome in other areas!!

For those wanting to print these maps using a PC here is a little tip...

1) when you have the map screen pulled up/zoomed in like you want it click the "PrtScn" button.

2) open 'Paint'. Then click paste or Ctrl+v

3) you can clean up the edges of the map by clicking the 'select box' (the one on the top right) and selecting the area of the map you want

4) hit copy or Ctrl+c

5) open a new paint document

6) click paste or Ctrl+v

7) then you can save, color, paint, etc on the new map

Another website that I've found very useful is www.scribblemaps.com! :way:

I'm suprised a lot of you haven't heard of the Bing maps yet. It is pretty awesome using the birdseye view but I've found that the birdseye doesn't work in areas that are either really rural or in city areas. It's pretty sweet how you can rotate the map and even see into the timber and see the trails.

Man that is insane. I can see my ladder stands. If only they were updated daily I could shed hunt from my living room.

Not sure I like the fact that there is that clear of aerial view of my home and property for anyone in the world with internet access to see without permission.

It is a very cool ap.

Do you just keep clicking on the map until it zooms all the way in? I tried it and it simply gives me a white map with the roads. No topgrpahy color etc. Am I missing something?

I go to bing.com, the maps, then click on Iowa etc...

Top tool bar of the map, more on the right side, there is a drop down that you have to choose birds eye view, you sound like you have it set on road view.

I used to have unbelievable images on birdseye in my area but now its not near as good.

Out area used to have the great great birds eye view, could see deer trails, specific trees, etc like people have mentioned... but in the past couple months we now have this crappy 'birds eye' version and it isn't anything better than a typical aerial map... Kinda stinks
