swarovski 10 x 42 expensive yes, worth it yes. need for another pair is zero, ever. bought a pair of zeiss 10 x 40 in 1978 when I was guiding in Alaska. Those bino's have been everywhere and under all the worst conditions, the rubber has scratches, but the glass is like new, gave it to my son. Buy top of line glass and you will never ever regret it
