Yes. Same theory as the ground stake holders you use in a blind where you slide the limb between two rubber coated rods with a slight cant and it holds the bow. Only problem was I almost knocked the bow out of it with my knee one time and that spooked me enough to start buying the tree mount units for the most part. I just left mine on all the time. If I put it in the right spot on my climber platform it wouldn't get in the way when sliding the two halves of the stand together for packing. I liked it the most for that application so I didn't have to pack a tree mount. </div></div>
We make our own with a piece of flat stock about 1/2" x 3" and then weld (2) 1/4" x 2" bolts to it about 1.5" apart. Slip some rubber tube over the bolts for padding and fasten it to the front side of the platform with self tappers. Just put your lower limb between the bolts and let the bow lean forward a bit. Don't even notice it on there. I'll see if I can find or make a pic of one.
