Has anyone planted chuffa. I understand the turkeys love them. Are they easy to plant? Do the deer eat them!

Never tried them...more common in the south I think and some say it's really like a "weed". I understand turkeys really like the tubers. You can buy it from the NWTF...give it a try and let us know how it works out

Looks like it does alright! I already have turkeys coming out my ears, so can't see wasting any foodplot space on trying to get more

In the spring they like to strut in the clover plots so that works out alright for hunting. The darn things love my switchgrass and scare the crap outa me when the blast out of that stuff...10 ft in front of me!
