Anyone have any experience with this as a late season plot? I am considering it for a one acre stand alone test plot and would appreciate any thoughts anyone has on it.

I haven't planted it and it is considered and invasive species in some states...so proceed with caution.
From what I understand Small burnet is the principle seed in WI's Extreme. Good plant for droughty conditions and as a winter forage, per the press on it. I have a friend who planted it in a mix, and deer have largely browsed it out of existence. But he tossed some next to his house in the wife's flower beds have grown into pretty impressive plants.
