I’d say the one I found had not been ate on much if at all. Plenty of coyotes around tooSo all the ehd deaths I've found have never been eaten on. Plus they decay so fast too because they are so warm at the time of death. Is that what everyone else has seen. I haven't seen a ton of them but mine never been touched by buzzards or yotes.

Yep- u off by an inch with a big broadhead or even a bullet…. They don’t die. a stupid little midge bites…. Toast!!!! Irony.It’s absolutely amazing that a tiny bug you can barely see will take down a giant animal like that !!
